Another Quebec is possible

QUEBEC – The leaders of Quebec's labour unions have formed a new alliance, with the goal of stopping what they see as a rightward drift by the province.
Instead they want continued spending in the next provincial budget on social programs and education.
"This is not a Tea Party," said Claudette Carbonneau, president of the Confédération des syndicats nationaux, referring to the Tea Party movement in the United States, which calls for tax cuts and less public spending.
