Report provides a glimpse into the private US library market.

October 17, 2011: Recently there has been much discussion in Ontario about privatization and outsourcing by municipal governments. In the USA, the issue of privatizing libraries seems to be an option which will remain on the table for local governments.

CUPE's report, Trends in Private Libraries — Lessons from Other Jurisdictions, is a "first-cut" examination of Library Systems and Services, a private company, and a glimpse into the private US library market.
