PublicValues.ca
A one-stop-shopping source for information on privatization and the fight to preserve public services, resources, spaces and enterprise
Welcome to a different kind of news and information service. PublicValues.ca, along with its sister site ValeursPubliques.ca, is a news site dedicated to looking at privatization and how to fight it. All things public are on the block: Sell-offs, deregulation, outsourcing, contracting out, public-private partnerships that place public services in private hands, and corporate growth in public services such as health care, child care and social services, are all moving forward rapidly.
Those who oppose these developments need to share information. What works? What doesn't? What have others done? And, what has happened elsewhere? That's why PublicValues.ca and ValeursPubliques.ca were created.
